Offensive Rant, Read at own Risk.

I got an email that kinda made me snap. this is the result. again not pretty. if you still wanna be my friend then don't read!

Well, yeah gas is going up. what a shame. people whine all the time about how shitty everything is now a days. well tooooo freaking bad! YOU created it, yeah that's right! YOU! the government didn't, society didn't, it was your own lil lazy bottom ass that did. how you may ask? well lets see, did you REALLY need that 4x4 jacked up, duel wheel, gas chugging piece of sh*t? even though you drive one block only everyday? hmmmm no i don't think you did! WALK PEOPLE! that's why god made those weird little misshapen things connected to your ankles! don't wanna walk? bike!
now for the other side (sorry molly)
You think that whole "no gas for a day!" is stupid? guess what! ur stupid! you cannot just expect everything to just go boom! alternate transportation methods for everyone! yeah carpooling, good idea! what about those that cant? i have a friend that lives in Evensberg, she goes to NAIT, there are not too many people that she can carpool with so she HAS to drive. and being a college student she cant AFFORD a nice shiny hybrid. yeah i know I'm being a bit of a bitch but you know what? you have to start small, the no gas for a day may not be the best idea, but its getting the ball rolling. the Grand Canyon wasn't exactly dug out in a week, it started off as a tiny stream. hell it still is, just a tiny stream that made a huge canyon. so like i said before, not the no gas for a day might not change the world, but heck if is makes just ONE person stop and think "hey taking the bus isn't bad" or "maybe i should start walking/biking to work, its really nice" then hey I'm happy! means one less car on the road (like lots of those snazzy bumper stickers ;D )

now for parenting. yeah i know I'm not a parent and no i don't have a PHD on it, but i think my opinion is just as important! so lets start with a story

so Tommy is being a little shit, doesn't listen, rude to strangers, demanding and lips off his parents. who's to blame? the parents? no its the daycare he is taken to! they didn't teach him right!

Tommy is now in grade 4. he swears, throws scissors at the teacher, and is throwing a tantrum. Should Tommy be punished? she he be told to say sorry to the teacher and the rest of his class, then made to help the janitor clean up the school ground? NOOOOOO! its not Tommy's fault! its the teachers fault because she told him to put his Gameboy away and when he would he was suppose to sit in the hall. she raised her voice to him and he felt unsafe!

Tommy is now in high school. he is a drug dealer, and is able to get away with it because the parents are never home. he gets mad and pulls a gun on another student! Oh my! what happened? where did this come from?! he was always such a good boy! always so mild tempered! i know its those damn video games! they are evil and put these ideas into his mind! Tommy is now 30 and at a retail store. he wants a flat panel screen but it costs a lot and only wants to pay 1/2 of what it is worth. when he is told he cant have it at that price, he demands a manager! manager tells him the same thing, and he gets mad. he tells the sales person and manager that he will get them all fired, he will never shop there again and is going to his competition! poor Tommy!

now lets hear the truth!
The reason is a brat is because his parents never taught him any better! where were they when he was suppose to learn that you ask for something with a please and receive the item with a thank-you?! why don't the parents tell him no, or punish him when he throws tantrums? from the time a child is born to the time they are 5 they learn all these traits! they do not grow out of bad behaviour it is taught out of them!
Why does Tommy throw scissors at the teacher? because he knows he can! we have taught the children that the teachers have no control over them! why respect someone when they don't have to? yes there are bad teachers, i ain't saying there isn't, whipping a child is not the answer! but Christ, what can a teacher do? the child cannot be punished and forced to do school cleaning because then that's child labour! i have never seen a child fall over dead because they helped sweep, or help wipe down tables!
Tommy is able to become a drug dealer because his parents just give him money to keep him out of their hair. and by keeping Tommy out of their hair they totally separated themselves from Tommy's life, allowing him to do whatever he wants. and the evil games, hell you f*cking bought them for him back when he was in grade 4 still. I know someone that worked at Wal-marts electronics, he would constantly sell Grand Theft Auto to parents who are giving it to there 7 year old son/daughter. he would ASK the PARENT directly if they want their child to have this game and that it has violence and adult themes in it. they would respond "whatever makes them happy!"
then the adult Tommy is just doing what his parents have taught them, if he whines and cries he will get whatever he wants so that he shuts up.
so the little murders, rapists, and thieves are really what the parents have created. now I'm not saying all of them are, some of those people are just messed in the head. but most of the ones that DON'T have mental problems are made, not born.

the olden days were no golden days but you didn't seem to have as many smart ass jerk as we do now. perhaps its because it was all hushed up. or it could be that they dug out that bad trait before it rooted.

these are my opinions. you may not agree (hell you probably are pretty pissed right about now) but i don't care. Ive been bottling this up for a bit so i needed to let it out. again comments are welcomed, but don't be surprised if i don't care if you're offended.
